Every
year on the Saturday following Malvern, people descend on Llwynbedw in
Wales to attend the Bychan Arabians Open Day, hosted by Sue and Emrys
Jones. This year, there was an added incentive for people to attend – a
new straight Egyptian colt had arrived in the UK just 48 hours before
the Open Day and people were keen to see this winning yearling fresh
from the States. However, no one was banking on the weather … In
anticipation of the worsening weather, the new arrival, MVA Colour Me
Cool, opened the display. By True Colours (Thee Desperado x Daheda) and
out of SKF Tiaara (Imperial Baarez x Valour Anishah), Colour Me Cool is
a very flashy chestnut yearling colt that took his first encounter with
the wet British weather in his stride …
With a good body, great movement, good legs and a
wonderfully stretchy neck and refined head, Colour Me Cool caught the
attention of the audience and “Colour Me Cool is the prince in waiting,”
said Sue ... |
